All of that playing in the sun calls for a cool drink. Iced tea anyone?
Toes.
Meanwhile, Chloe scoured the yard for potential dangers. Including checking in the garden bucket.
She continued to patrol the perimeter while Aiden contemplated basil.
Patches and Oreo always keeping watch. I miss my pretty girls.
"Psst. Hey, kid. If you push a little harder on this door, we can both bust outta this joint."
Then it was on to City Island in Harrisburg for mini-golf. This is the view of the walking bridge that connects Harrisburg to the Island.
Mini-golf! I started out with a hole-in-one, but things went downhill from there. Though I still think Bryant fudged the numbers. ;)
Fireworks as seen from the deck at Duke's Riverside. I also had the best sandwich in the world: Sliced pit beef on grilled Tuscan bread, melted swiss cheese, mushrooms (though I picked those off), caramelized onions, all drizzled with French onion soup. I'm drooling just thinking of its deliciousness. Anyway, fireworks...
Saturday started with a visit to see Dad at the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey. (P.S., I don't remember what kinds of cars these are, so don't ask.)
(Oh, wait. The one on the bottom right is a Lamborghini.)
(And the one on the left is the DeLorean from "Back to the Future!" And the one on the right is a Ford GT40).
Because I know people who can pull strings at the museum...
Later that afternoon, Dad and I headed out in the 'Stang to the Soda Jerk's Cruise-In.
I love the Stingrays.
Love.
Spiffy Chevy Impala SS
"I see a dust trail followin' an old red Nova..." (name that Rascal Flatts tune)
Vroom.
A celebrity car. Jay Leno has a photo of this car in his office (it's a Toranado).
Ending with style. (Can you tell I tend to gravitate toward red cars?)
The end!
