Anyway, my thoughts on the film are below. I'm going to do the white text thing so those of you who haven't seen it yet won't be spoiled. For those of you who have seen it or who don't give a damn, highlight away. ;)
The ending! Oh, the ending! If anyone didn't know that there's going to be a third installment, they sure as hell know now. There was a roar of outrage, haha.
Commodore Norrington is a pirate! Whoda thought. He was strangely attractive, though. All mud-caked and dirty and full of anger.
The Kraken... scaaaaary octopus-squid-thing. Actually, the same goes for Davy Jones. Though the latter wasn't as scary as the previews make him out to be. He was just kind of... strange. But both were created with amazing special effects.
Gore. Lots and lots of gore. So much so, I almost forgot I was watching a Disney movie. I mean, crows pecking out eyeballs? Pirates getting their throats slit? A necklace of toes? Ew. Mickey, what's going on?
Elizabeth making out with Captain Jack shouldn't have been hot under the circumstances, but it so was.
Creepy undead monkey is back. Jack likes to shoot him. Quite funny. "Where's the monkey?! I want to shoot something!"
In the end, it was an enjoyable film. I don't think it was better than the first, though. The comedy in this one seemed too forced and though I absolutely LOVE Johnny Depp's portrayal of Jack in all his staggering weirdness... Jack was a little too weird and his movements much more exaggerated this time around. But I'll see it again. :)
