So I want a cat.  Really really bad.  Something warm and fuzzy and cute to come home to and play with and cuddle with and laugh at when it does stupid-funny things.  I mean, the roomie is great for some of those things but I crave more.  I have excess love to give!  A cold, snowy weekend laying on the couch watching a movie with a small, furry, purring motorboat of a kitty curled up on my lap is the picture of perfection to me right now.

But this apartment complex doesn't allow pets.  At all.  I've thought of keeping a contraband kitty here and hiding it and its litterbox (the two biggest and most noticable things) in the bathroom on the days routine maintenence is performed in the buildings.  But certain kitties can make a lot of noise and, knowing my luck, my kitty would be the one with a wish to be the next American Idol.

*sigh*  Maybe I can start a petition.  Let us have our cats!
