Only two of my doggie buddies from when I last volunteered at the CCSPCA a month ago are still there - Gotti, a small black and white pit, and Buddy the collie/sheltie mix. That means the rest of them either were adopted, were placed in foster homes, or were taken to rescues. Stinks for poor Gotti and Buddy, though. Gotti's such a stinkin' cute lovebug with a smile a mile wide. I worked on leashing him today and he was the perfect partner. I hope someone nice picks him up soon.

There was also a new Rottie girl that I took a liking to... she was easily half Hooch's size, the Rottie I worked with last month, and every time I stopped in front of her kennel her little nub of a tail went back and forth so fast her entire hind end starting wiggling. She was so quiet and sweet... I wanted to take her home, too.

*sigh* I can't wait 'til I can adopt a dog. Just a few more years to go.
