I really am "parent" to a teenager. I've been told that a year-old cat is equal to a 15-year-old human as far as behavior, growth, and personality.

Last night I realized that Oliver's chin, right along the lipline, was a little red and swollen. Upon closer inspection, I see little whitehead bumps... my poor boy has feline acne!

It doesn't seem to be bugging him; he's still eating, drinking, and playing normally. But I'm going to get him into the vet next week if I can. His vet should be able to prescribe a medicated cream or some antibiotics to get the swelling down. Thank God the vet's office is right up the street, and therefore within walking distance. My car's going into the shop on Monday, though I'm not sure for how long.

All righty, time to get back to preparing for Lauren's bachelorette party today. It's going to be so much fun!
