I broke an unspoken rule last night.
I put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. *gasp*
I love Christmas, and it's the one time of the year that I really get into decorating for the season because it always puts me into a good mood. The holiday continues to creep closer and closer, and I'd like to get as much out of the decorations as I can. Therefore, snowmen, shiny red ball ornaments, greenery, a cranberry-scented candle, a miniature Christmas tree (no space for a big one) with a handmade golden angel and gold paper stars, and other various wintery-type things have taken over my apartment. If I can manage, I'll try and post some pictures later.
Meanwhile, plans for the Thanksgiving weekend are thus:
1. After work on Wednesday, pack and clean.
2. Drive to Dad's on Thursday morning for Thanksgiving with Dad, Diane, and brothers.
3. Drive to Mom's on Friday morning for Thanksgiving with Mom, Dave, and brothers.
4. Drive back to WC on Saturday morning, gather carpool, drive to Philadelphia for Dave & Buster's birthday fun.
That's a lot of driving. Kitties are not going to be pleased.
Raarrr. My proposal just needs to GO. AWAY.
