This is our kitty - Bella. My boyfriend rescued her last week. He found her curled up in the middle of a busy street while cars ran over her. He didn't notice her until he ran her over and heard her mewing. He stopped traffic to get her. She was scared and hungry but is doing great now. Of course, we fell in love and had to keep her.

I can't even imagine how scared she must have been, having car after car drive over her, too paralyzed with fear to move out of the way. I'm so thankful for people like these who open their homes to stray cats and dogs and other animals that need safety and love.
I miss my kitties. :(
