I told my boss last week that I'd be taking off from work October 4-6 as a sort of mini-vacation since I didn't take anything more than a long weekend here and there over the summer (and I'll be puppy-sitting for Michelle while she and Jim are on their honeymoon).  And looking at my daily planner, I've just realized that Columbus Day is Oct. 9 this year, which means the office will be closed.  Which means I'm going to have six glorious days off from work starting Wednesday next week.

Right onnnnnn.

I sent my resume and cover letters to two more companies tonight after a crappy day (a huge ink blot somehow made its way onto the front of my favorite pair of green pants... no amount of Tide-to-Go scrubbing or hairspray was able to remove the stain, though. *pout*).  So hopefully I'll hear something from them soon and can stop complaining about how much I hate my job.  :)
